Say Hello to a make-up newbie.

The make-up newbie.

Make-up.
Not a very new term heard isn't it?
Call us girls, but hey who doesn't like to make themselves look pretty in the face of public? ;)
I can be pretty vain too, like how my clique calls me a bimbo at times(hehe I'm too shy to admit.)

But seriously...
I have never put make-up in my life before.
Or well, at least once when I was in Secondary 2 I tried to draw eyeliner for Chinese New Year cause I wanted to try something new.
And here it goes...

So vain right!
And well I didn't look very glam too.

Ever since that happened, I decided never to put make-up again.
True enough, I have not been touching make-up for like years.
Ever since the very last experience I had got myself kinda traumatized.
Beware of the following photos which would be just showing my face.
WITHOUT THE MAKE-UP.

Yes...so you've seen it.
Call me lazy.
But even for wedding dinners, I did not even bother to make-up because I'm afraid I'm gonna scare myself in front of the mirror again or I simply DON'T KNOW HOW TO PUT MAKE UP.
which my friends would laugh at me cause girls are normally good at such things!

I reflected on my own acts and so I saw about this make-up or skincare brand named "Laneige" that's recently talked about via Nuffnang.
I did a look through the products.

Wow, I'm impressed by the advancement and diversities of make-up essentials.

My vain genes triggered again.
Asking me to choose my favorite(or probably most wanted) skincare & make-up product from Laneige's wide variety of products is simply a tough choice.

But well since I'm gonna choose, I would choose the White Plus Renew Eye Cream  for the Skincare product.

From the photo I took above, I could see those pretty(bad!) eye bags weighing under my eyes.
With... dark eye circles :'(
I can't imagine one day being sent to River Safari and staying with Jia Jia & Kai Kai for exhibition as panda.
I've been trying to resolve this eye bags and dark eye circle problems of mine using eye mask etc.
And after seeing the Laneige product, I think I'm gonna get one and try it out!

White Plus Renew Eye Cream from Laneige.

Containing 15ml of the eye cream, it is suitable for usage during day or night, for all skin types.
Helps whitening the skin which will help to lighten up your dark eye circles!
Also with it's petite size, it is definitely portable anywhere and everywhere you go :)
This shall be my wanted skincare product list.

As for make-up products, I wasn't really sure...

But I would be going for the foundation series, which would be the Perfect Pro BB Cream.

Why?
I am not a huge fan of make-up, or heavy make-up such as mascara, eye shadow etc.
For me, I pretty much prefer a natural look, something refreshing.
I strongly believe that a refreshing & natural look is a trend that never dies down in the world of make-up,
because...what beats looking natural? :)

Perhaps because I am currently still a student, I wouldn't feel that I would need make up like eye shadow or mascara literally RIGHT NOW.
So the most make-up I would consider putting would be BB cream for a nice looking complexion as well as a nude/ light pink lipstick to finish up the entire make-up.
A little blusher on the cheeks would give off a healthy glow too :)

So...
Perfect Pro BB Cream.

This shall be what I'm looking for under my make-up product series.
This product would be perfect for a nice-looking complexion as well as a good moisturizer as liquid crystal essence are present in this product too to deliver rich moisturizing nutrients to your skin!
Can you imagine you touching your skin and it might just bounce off cause it's well-moisturized?
I can imagine that and I hope mine will be like this one day!
Talk about hitting 2 birds with a stone with this product!

Now..what's your favorite Laneige product?
Check Laneige out now!

goodbye.

For the 3rd time...Navy Open House 2013!

NAVY OPEN HOUSE 2013...

ARE YOU READY?!

Pardon me for the caps!
Being a huge fan of Navy just makes me go %^$%@%.
Sometimes it kinda made my friends wonder WHO,WHAT,WHEN,WHY & HOW did I even started liking Navy.
Well.. it all started way back from National Day Parade 2009 when I was part of it.
The marching contingent...yes I come from Girls' Brigade haha.
It was a really fun and cool experience that I would never forget.
Well, the friends there too!
It's the aura of Navy that really got me mesmerized.
The uniform, the smartness they had.
Okay and because my brother used to be from Navy.
So... yeah my brother became my idol for a short while.
But he still is! Always :)

No more granny's stories, let me begin!

So it all began with this Navy pamphlet. It's really CUTE!

I liked how the embellishment looked so 3D.
like WOW. I was rubbing my eyes and touching to see if there's something popping out...
But nah...it's printed :(
But actually you could get the embellishment if you hashtag #NavyOpenHouse on Instagram!
Which I didn't...
:(

My partner for the day...RENGIE!
Also a great fan of Navy! smirk*

#ootd for the day:
lace top from abercrombie x
sailor shorts from sister x
sneakers from converse x
cream Baggu sling bag.

That's Rengie and her dream husband hahaha!

Ships <3
From Singapore Navy, US Navy & India's Navy was over at the Open House too!

More ships!
Actually, the weather that was surprisingly a great big thumbs up!
It wasn't too sunny(while it was actually most of the times), it was windy(because it's near the coast), it's crowded(that was the fun!)

The hungry us just can't resist going over to the F&B side..
Look what we've got!
Yoghurt at the price of $3.90.
With no limitations of how much toppings you get!!!(This sounds the most attractive part right!)
It's nice!
Being a great fan of Yoghurt, this is certainly one that I would recommend :)
I would normally get yoghurt from Yami Yoghurt or Sogurt!
Still interested to try more new yoghurt stores :)

There wasn't much pictures taken over at the Open House cause we were too busy squeezing our way through the displays, galleries and booths :(
And from Changi, we train-hopped all the way to Somerset!
JUST FOR ONE THING:
SUSHI @ Nihon Mura!!
It's the one at Cineleisure if you're asking :)
$1.50 per plate is totally worth it!

Queue was long... So yup why not a best friend shot ^^
I love this girl because I could confide things to her and.. she would always be there to make me laugh or just plainly doing silly stuffs together with me!
Our friendship started through NDP'09 too :)
4/5 years and still counting!

Waiting for train.. and we took photos again.
Haha I'm so sorry that you're suffering from this post!!
But NOH'13 was really a blast and I do look forward to attending the upcoming ones!
And I hope YOU would join in too :)

P.S. Apologies for poor quality photos! Photo quality uploaded from phone seems rather disrupted :(
goodbye.

Bucket List.

Good morning lovely people!
It's pretty early like 8.07am now & I'm on my way to work.
Sleepy me but I've got to keep going :)
I was scrolling thru twitter and saw someone retweeted about...bucket list.

Yes to me, in life everyone have their own bucket list. It just differs on... what is it, how you're gonna achieve it & ARE YOU GOING TO WORK FOR IT?

I've always dreamt about backpacking, to travel & explore the world.. Well at least that's what landed me into my diploma of aviation :') it wasn't a bad choice.
In fact, it's one of my bucket list ticks.
I aspired to work in tourism or airline/airport industry.
Well I am definitely not considered working in that industry yet but at least I'm starting to embark on it.
I've pretty much on my bucket list:

1. Good body proportion
2. Earning money & giving my parents part of it
3. Club once at least
4. Graduating with good GPA
5. Travel around the world(luxury/backpacking) *at least travel to my dream destinations
6. Learning how to cook well
7. To give birth to 2 kids
8. Overseas trip with my clique
9. Go for more overseas community project
10. YOLO someday & indulge

This is not the end. Because currently..I guess my brain is blocked. Haha.
But bucket list develops over the years as we grow older and mature.
So.. what's next?
I've no idea.
But we should probably learn & look forward to doing new things.
Bucket list is there for a reason.
A motivation in life for you to work hard & move on.
Have you got your bucket list started yet?
I would love to hear about yours :)
Comment if you feel like sharing.
Perhaps we have something in common.
Teehee.
Till then, more updates tonight for my dinner!
Goodbye.

Rabbit Hole.

Hey!

Remember the other time when I said I was gonna watch a play named "Rabbit Hole" by Pangdemonium ?

I watched it last Saturday and I would say it's...

DEFINITELY WORTH TO WATCH.

Find out more about my day below! :)

The play that we were gonna watch was at 8pm, so Pat & I met at about 2pm for lunch!
Well... it wasn't supposed to be just the 2 of us.
Jig was supposed to join us but he couldn't make it at the very last minute...
And we couldn't find a replacement *sigh*

ANYWAY, we had lunch over at Sakae Sushi & still I would say it's DELICIOUS!!
Because I love sushi wahahah.

Some Unagi sushi thingy with crab meat/prawn wrapped around the sushi rice!

Soft shell Crab Tempura!
Pat loved this LOLOL.
It's super JUICY.
My mouth was literally "moisturized" by it :p

Ebi Tempura wrapped with sushi rice!
With cucumber, crab meat paste and wrapped with crab meat!

hehe sorry it's my selfie. shy*

ONE hour THIRTY mins later...Dinner again.

it's DAYUM!!
Thanks to Jig that he got me those rice cakes!
I love it! <3
There were Pig Trotters too but I didn't managed to take a photo of it.
Just 2 dishes but we were too full :(

ootd for the day!

black mini dress x bought from ShenZhen
bag x eatingzombie
T-strapped wedges(shoes) x Hush Puppies

weeee here's my tix!
If you're interested in this play,
do try and get the tix before it ends on 12 May 2013!
It's simply inspiring & moving that I've seen some people crying over it.

I'm not gonna be a spoiler & talk about it.

So if you wanna find out more... go & watch it :)

You can get it from SISTIC & the shows are all in the
DBS Arts Centre
located near Clarke Quay, Merbau Road.

Find out more at SISTIC!

And after the play which ended at about 10 plus,
Pat & I decided to take a seat at Clarke Quay, talk about our lives & just some heart-to-heart talk.
Y'know, humans gotta stop bottling up some things to themselves..
that's why htht exists.

Before I end my "Rabbit Hole" day post...

Uni exams are coming up for my sister pretty soon.
I hope that she can do her best and excel in it just because I've seen all the hard work she have put in :')
Always seeing her sleeping at times that seems absolutely ridiculous to me(such as 5am, 6am) when other humans like us wake up to start our day...
It pretty much aches my heart to see her being so tired.
Glad that I bought her favorite POTONG ice cream the other time to give her the motivation to push on!
I know she can do it & let's give her the utmost support that she needs for her examinations.
Go for it sissy!

goodbye.
