Back once again!
Sorry for disappearing for quite a while! Apparently I have not blogged for like 11 days & counting..
But please let me catch your attention once again!
PLEASE.
While, I have been rather busy with work lately that I have been neglecting this space of mine
:(
So let me share with you with about the biggest event of my life this year 2013.
My 18th BIRTHDAY!!
No, I didn't hold any birthday bash or whatever.
I was intending to celebrate it with some of my closest ones which apparently I'm caught up with so many surprises!!
Firstly, I can't miss out on my FAMILY.
#ootd for the day:
Laced cream top x abercrombie
Maroon skater skirt x far east plaza
Sandals x Rubi
Fav. bag x eatingzombie
So I went furniture hunting with my bro before birthday dinner!
Apparently, IKEA.
No meatballs this time round though, but we had Shihlin Tempura and Sharetea!
Yipee!
Because birthday girl is happy so anything just feels nicer, sweeter and nothing feels more than that.
Where else is a better place for family gatherings?
BUFFET, because you can just use those walking around and choosing food together as bonding time!
Back to my fam's favorite hideout, Buffet Town located at Raffles Shopping Centre Basement.
At a reasonable price, their oysters are real fresh!
You need to queue for this, MUST if you're an oyster lover.
First round, I was diligent enough to take a photo.
Next few... all down in my tummy yummy!
*slurps slurps slurps*
Chili Crab, Singapore's must-have delicacies.
Comes approx. every 15 mins and it's good!
The buns especially!!!
My sis and I can go mad about it.
Every meal, can't miss out on my veggies.
Stir-fried vegetables or you can call it the Teppanyaki corner;
simply take up the veggies/meat that you want and they will whip it up for you!
Served hot & smells *mmhmm* good!
BBQ sauce chicken, dory fishy, german sausage and butter corn!
Fresh prawns that my mum took too many!
teehee.
Scallops!
Under the sea~~
My favorite...desserts!
Love this tart filled with peppermint cream!
Smooth and not too creamy, so I didn't get sick of it!
I took a lot of this hehehe.
IF you're wondering why the dessert plate was starting to empty out.
We are the crazy Simpsons family.
Then next up was Xin Ping!
#ootd:
Orange cropped Cami x Topshop
Blue Printed Shorts x Abercrombie
Fav. bag again! x eatingzombie
Ssikkek Korean BBQ!
Slurps yummy garlic chicken that is super SOFT;
CHEWY;
SAVORY;
YOU JUST CAN'T STOP FROM A 2ND SERVING.
the broccoli and cauliflowers which tasted just like how my mum cooks it.
Absolute love & must try!
What's korean food without ddbeokki(rice cakes)!
But I think perhaps you shouldn't have too much of this cause you will get too full.
And it's definitely better to eat it warm as it gets tough when served cold.
Do take note of this!
When we're busy eating, everything aside.
HAHA.
And someone went off to the toilet...
This appeared!
My pretty Oreo Cheesecake from Bakerzin given by Xin Ping!
It was absolutely delicious!
I hate cheese, in fact all types of cheese.
Even I was particular about certain cheesecakes flavor, but this got me overwhelmed.
Even though it got a bit mushy when we walked under the sun for TOO LONG, it still tasted so good!
Shared with Xin Ping, and that moment just made our friendship even closer!
Thank you so much for the surprise ;)
And absolutely loving my birthday gift which I will be wearing soon!
Actual Day!
Birthday cake from family, my favorite mocha flavored cake from Prima Deli!
Fresh, smooth and soft texture of the cream, topped off with chocolate bits & chocolate rice and the sides.
Cream & chocolate loaded with strong mocha flavor which balances the sweetness & slight bitterness of coffee.
Sink your teeth into a bite of it, I'm sure you will want a second bite.
Because it's just so good.
;)
Yes cake, Hi, I'm gonna conquer YOU.
Treat from my serious bro ;)
Peanuts, to satisfy our hunger before our food arrives.
I don't get how we can dislike it sometimes but when it's served in restaurants, we just can't help taking another one and another.
HAHA irony isn't it?
Loving the ambience over at Soup Restuarant which recently opened at the extension side of Suntec City!
Feeling the chinese culture once again.
Tsamsui Ginger Chicken!
Must order.
Wrap it up with a lettuce, chix and ginger seasoning, all ready to go into your tummy!
For spicy-food lovers, Ah Gong Fan Shu Ye(Sweet Potato leaves??)
LOL.
Better than kangkong!
One of my loves!
That's a table for two.
Yes.
2.
My bro does the ordering.
Weird me or not?
Can't resist tangyuans when I'm in Chinese restaurants cause it just feels like a family reunion each time I dine in such places!
$2, I told my brother it was cheap.
Yes, and they came in a bowl.
With 2 glutinous rice balls.
1 for $1.
Well, it was afterall for the ginger soup which I wouldn't eat tangyuans without.
Great for body too maybe?
Detox.
That's end of Part 1!!
More to come.
Stay tuned.
Read on till the next post.
Goodbye.
