WOW.
It's been about 3 weeks since I last blogged!
Apologies for my abstinence because I was barely surviving with my projects.
4 projects, 1 assignment submission within 1-2 weeks were definitely taking a toll on me :(
2 have been cleared and so I'm taking a time off from studies on this special CNY eve!
So, on this special day, I wonder what CNY eve is in store for each and everyone of you.
Care to share? :)
Well, before I kick-off this busy day of mine helping my parents to prepare for the huge steamboat feast for reunion dinner tonight, or before I start keeping track of how CNY has been going on for me, there's a little something which I want to share my thoughts on and have been kept in my mind for a really long time.
Just a few weeks ago, I finally caught "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" in the cinemas!
Definitely not missing it out because I'm a huge fan of Ben Stiller.
His humorous character never failed to put a smile on my face while watching his movie.
I've always been given this impression that Ben Stiller is really more of a funny personality?
Which I believe this movie that I'm sharing about portrayed a drastic contrast of how he can actually be.
Believe it or not, "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" was directed by Ben Stiller and the meaning behind this movie is really inspirational.
Just the type of movie for me.

"Stop Dreaming, Start Living."
This movie taught me what's the purpose of life.
What's the purpose for each and everyone of our lives.
So distinct, so unique, simply hard to understand what's the goal in our life which we are perhaps in a dilemma to simply just choose one and focus.
But, this movie, made me had self-actualization of what I wanted in life.
To be studying in Aviation Management & Services (AMS) was never what I had expected in my life to come about. (I thought I was going to study hospitality and tourism haha.)
Then coming to my dreams of wanting to travel out of Singapore to explore the world.
Pursued my dreams, getting an internship over at Disney was simply one of the best news in my life.
Aviation, shall lead me to the endless wonders of the world, the wanderlust mind of mine to flow with.

Passion: Photography.
This movie felt like it was almost custom-made for me(because it's everything I wanted!)
I have always loved photography, been trying to explore as much as I could.
But seriously, I guess I might need so many more years of experience to get the hang of it HAHA.
So this particular scene of Walter and Shane over at Mount Himalayas taking a snapshot of a white tiger..
And one of the powerful sentence that got me to realize,
"Sometimes, when I see something, I will just sink into the moment and enjoy it, not taking any to distract this moment."
Yes, pictures says a thousand words, but how often do we look at the pictures and get reminded of the moment?
Just me again, but I would want to sink into that moment as well which makes my DSLR kind of redundant at times especially for events, when all I wanted was to enjoy that moment,
but I've got to take photos to entertain all my lovely readers!

Backpacking - working towards this dream.
Climbing up the mountains...well I can't guarantee whether I have the strength nor the guts to do it, but I do want to try backpacking to Europe someday, exploring the beautiful wonders that Mother Earth brough about.
Well, that is if it has not modernized into a City.
Backpacking to New York will definitely be one of the biggest dreams I ever held, visiting the Times Square.
I had, so many dreams to achieve, so many life struggles to go through, so many problems to think about, so many things to worry about, so many passions to fight for.
But, I am satisfied with life.
I started dreaming.
But now, I'm not.
I'm living and working for it.
That's "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty"
Is that yours too? ;)
So, before CNY begin, I have started this family-loving moments with my parents at Chinatown!
