Finally, an end to my hectic week.
I can't believe how I survived the past 2 weeks.
Firstly, ended my Major Project presentation which was a MAJOR LOAD off my shoulder.
I could even hear my shoulders cracking (okay, just an expression hehe.)
And then, I was drowning with 3 assignments, with 2 on the same day, and 1 on the following week.
Each time I got so motivated to blog...but time just refuses to.
But hey, I ended 2 submissions today!
So no more procrastination, but I should probably start working on my 3rd assignment and probably the other 2 of mine which is going to be due soon.
Oh well, just fighting with time.
Enough of all that rants, you must be sick of it too right!!
I'm just..naggy.
As I am blogging, the breeze is strong. Like literally now when I'm typing.
woohooo shiok!
So maybe that's how winter in Singapore feels like and perhaps cause I'm off the deadlines stress the past few days.
Yipeeee!
Officially 47 DAYS to my first sister bonding trip with Reggie!!
We will be heading to Taipei and we are really excited about it!
Did a really brief itinerary already, which we have to start filling in the details while time goes by and of course, start saving.
It was an insane decision.
We were just sitting by the living room and randomly talking about it...
and the next week we booked our tickets.
No qualms, no doubts over it.
How decisive we were wahahaha.
We thought it might be a good time for us to really open up to each other even more and of course strengthen our relationship as sisters.
Hehe.
I've been to Taipei before, but still I would love any recommendations given by you guys!
Feel free to leave a comment for me.
Dragged this for a couple of weeks, so let's have a Group Therapy time.
In case you didn't know, this is the 2nd outlet of Group Therapy located at Katong V!
It's pretty accessible from I12@Katong, probably a 10-15 minutes walk away.
I have always wanted to try Group Therapy hearing from experiences, but never had a chance to pop-by the original store.
But oh well, at least I tried their outlet!
My cafe hunter of the day, Ethel!
What I ordered off the menu - Hunting down chickens and got my Hunter's chicken stew.
And I will comment, it's deliiiiii-cious.
To my taste buds, at least.
The sauce was absolutely savory and tomato-ish that made me go heart throb.
The chicken was tender and probably a tad drier, but the sauce totally covered up the flaws of it.
Fabulous.
Not a great fan of salads, but this was worth a try.
It costed me about $13.90 and it's worth a deal!
Just imagine getting it together with a bowl of Garlic herbed rice.
Your tummy will thank you for it and scream,"I'm satisfied!"
if not, look for potatoes and order some fries served in ceramic bowls, similarly those used in the olden days for Teochew porridges.
How nostalgic.
Perhaps that's one unique feature of this cafe, not forgetting the nostalgic feeling to tug on the heart strings of ours even while we are dining.
I guess I kinda forgot what Ethel got... probably a sandwich that had feta cheese in it.
Tuna maybe?
Damn, my brain just failed on me.
Haha.
So this as mentioned by Ethel, was pretty decent in her opinions, so why not YOU give it a try some day?
Served pipin' hot on our tables...
And we just had to look at our food with excitement.
So ready to dig in.
Wished we were hungry enough for desserts but I guess...
Apparently we were not :(
Oh well, better luck next time!
So...if you're searching for a quiet and quaint place, filled with nostalgic times, try out Group Therapy Cafe at Katong V!
gotta grab some sleep before I fall asleep at work tomorrow.
Have a great weekend my daisies,
I will water you with more love the next time round.
As for now, goodbye,
cynnie.
